The website is definitely having some problems. I can't even get my profile thumbnail picture to display, even though it did download and displays after the download completed, it just won't display in a regular post...

I also look forward to the DVD of the trip.

Might have to go back for a day trip to the Dragon soon, it is close enough to me to be very tempting!

For those of you having issues with uploading your pics try this method...It works for all my upload needs...

I created a free account at www.kodakgallery.com and loaded my original pics into the gallery. Then use the slideshow to view the pics and save them by right clicking your mouse and save them back to your PC in a folder I created for downloads. This decreases (compresses) the file size and allows you to load them into your forum gallery. I do this one pic at a time. This is just another way to put your pics in the forum gallery.

You may also use the link from the Kodak Gallery and copy and paste it in a post for others to click on and view your pics in the Kodak Gallery.

Julian, is working on it now.
He just fixed the Instant email Notification feature!

BTW, Don't buy any Full Resolution Photos on Disk from the Dragon Meet, I've bought the Whole Set & will email requests, when I get them Next week on Disk!

Cool re: 1rst Annual "Tail of the Dragon", Crossfire Meet -

Bill are you sure you don't want to start a new thread for the Spring event?
Apologies to all...there is a larger learning curve than I thought with this consumer editing program...feeling my way through it (no manual just read me files) and it's not very intuitive. Should have a short music cut (6-10 minutes long) by monday if not sooner...it is in the works with a longer cut to be made available to anyone who wants it...no set price but I will accept donations since I've spent so much already and will be spending more to improve shots and acquisition tools for our next GTG/Run in the spring.
Hey Irwin...what the heck are you cutting on with that new blade?
Happy weekend to all!
Terry

When you complete a final copy of the Dragon video I would be happy to provide a donation to have a copy. Maybe next year I can attend from Chicagoland and be a part of all the fun. Please start a new post when the Dragon video is available. Thanks for your efforts in providing this to us.

Gary

Not a problem Gary. I am a former professional editor & camera man and using this consumer grade equipment and program is blowing my mind, LOL! But it will be a good polished finish product when complete. On the larger project I will include chapers w/Hellbender, Cheraholla Skyway and Dragon runs separated. This first is more a composite piece from all runs and will be posted on one of the web video hosting sites, You Tube etc...
Thanks for your interest and I'll start a new thread for everyone then.
Happy Holiday's Chicagoland...sorry Gary I'm not missing your winters...Navy Bootcamp at Great Lakes winter of '76 and man was it cold that year, LOL!

GM (Terry &) All,

Yes, I'm planning on starting a New thread for the Spring Meet, tomorrow.

This thread is still live for Anything relating to last Weekends Meet!
(With email notification now working, that will help us all a lot).

Got to Go Run the Dragon & the Loop with the Mrs., Now, weather Great & Color still lovely. (I've been working & running around like a Dog this past week, time for some Fun)!

BTW, I bought a Custom Disk of 180 Stills of our XFs through the Dragon (Sat & Sun). When I get them this week, I will email shots to anyone for a "small donation" also, I paid $180 for "all the shots" from Xtreme Sports Photos.

(Still need to get the Fontana Dam Shoot from Killboy on Disk, wonder what he will charge).

(Also, if you want prints, order them directly from one of the Photographers' Web Sites).

Here they are again, the 3 Biggest batches (236 pics) of the Professional Photos of the Meet in 3 Album Slideshows: (Take a look if you haven't seen them yet, there are some Great Action shots)
