Just to say thanks to all...what a wonderfull ride and meet! We had the best time and even Barb was ecstatic about future runs & GTG's.
We stayed up until midnight last night doing quick reviews of the video tapes (7 hours + or -) and there are some wonderful shots. Sitting down now to do a more detailed review and capture list so I can hopefullty have a first cut by Friday...will post the URL when uploaded. Anyone want to share their still photo's for inclusion in a final video please send copies in JPEG format to;

Lyn and I both enjoyed the run very much. It was great meeting everyone and look forward to the spring event. Thanks SF for all your hard work.
It was awesome to see a line of Crossfires cornering through the Dragon with so little body lean. I have an even greater respect for these cars. They can make anyone think they are a great driver! I know I am probably not nearly as good as I felt I was tearing through those curves!

My wife and I really enjoyed the weekend. She even had a blast on the Dragon. I've been down in that area for many years but dont recall the trees being so great, hitting the peak time for color. It helped that the sun was out the entire time. The Parkway to Townsend was one to drive, we didn't as a group, but if you get the chance, try it.Thanks for all your help in putting this together. Oh, Bill, yes, my wife was there with me, the same one on sunday as saturday, but after explaining who she was for the umpteenth time, I dont think it sank in. She was laughing all the time on that one. Next year, we will have name tags.

We just got home about 9pm after spending last night and this morning in Savannah with John & Shawn. Bill - You have set the GTG bar so high that I don't think anyone will ever be able to out do this weekend that you put together. I know you can sign us up for the next one, we'll be there. On the third run that we made when I was leading, Marilyn recorded the entire run on video with some great engine sound. We watched it this afternoon at Shawn's and then we watched it again after we got home. I'll see if Terry can use some of the footage in his video. That 110 mile loop we made on Saturday was fantastic.
Mike, it was very impressive that you kept up with Bill and myself through those mountains, you really did a great job of driving. Pat, it was great to see you again, hopefully you can make it down this way in March. Jeff, it was very nice meeting you and I had a blast with you riding my bumper thru the dragon on those runs. We really had a great run at the end with just the two of us. Terry, thanks for all the video effort that you did and will be doing all week. I'll send you a pm in a few minutes. Irwin, you have a great looking ride and you really hung with us SRT's through the turns on Sunday. We really enjoyed meeting everyone and look forward to next year. John & Shawn, we really had a great time seeing you two again and for the hospitallity that you showed by opening up your home to us for our return trip. We'll have to plan something soon.

Thanks John for the "props", but I think You and Bill were going easy on me just to make me feel good. The cruise on Saturday was the most fun I ever had driving a car.
I sure hope I'll be able to make it back in the spring.

Just wanted to say that I had a really great time meeting up with you all on
Saturday. The ride was a blast! I just wish that I had been able to complete
the loop. As we were going up the Cherohola skyway, my wife started
complaining about nausea and threatened to hurl all over the car if I didn't
slow down. hahaha. Caught by the wife brake! Anyway, for next year, she
says she will be staying home. Hopefully I can find another rider who won't
get vertigo from watching all the trees wiz by so fast. Great Job Bill!

I just wanted to say that my hat's off to all the young ladies who rode "shotgun". The Dragon's Tail is scary enough from behind the wheel (where the driver feels they have some control over the car) but it takes a lot more courage to sit in the passenger seat and put all your faith in the person doing the driving.
