Not yet, but you could if you'd like? I'm still collecting early #'s & not sure how many would want to stay in the same spot, or how many are going to need lodging in this Area, unless they stay Sat nite for both days? There are so many variables at this time, I rather have people pick there own & I'd help them if necessary? Some will need, Fri, Sat & Sun, some will only need one or two nights, & some won't need any, some will want to pay as little as possible & some won't care, some will want to stay on the TN side & some will want to stay on the NC side? Any thoughts? Thank you!

SF-- I overheard someone say that you have decided to put everyone up at your place. What a great gesture. Count me in tentatively from central Florida. I lived in Knoxville for seven years and still can't get the orange out of my blood. Hope to see you there. BTW- ever come across Randy Gangle (Col. retired USMC)?

No Problem, $250 PP PN! We can hold about 25 to 30 bunks downstairs, if we put them close, they would overlook the lake, one bath & shower for all, & a full kitchen to make your own breakfast?
Nope, never met the Col.
Thanks for the Tentative (?).
Hope to see you at the Dragon!

Like I mentioned before, Fontana Village is THE place to stay. Its right in the middle of everything, which is not saying much. They have cabins, both rustic, and newer, plus a motel. I stayed there and they were very nice. Old, but great cabin with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, etc. It was $41 per night. At this time, the motel might be full, but you could call. last year, 2 buddies stayed in their tents, low's in the 20's, but they were fine with that.

Now that's more in line with what I was thinking for lower priced rooms. You should be able to stay within the (1 hr drive) Area for $40 to $80 per night, based on your style & budget! Thank you!

I am new to the forum and am looking around for a Crossfire right now. If I get one I will be sure to be there.

Have driven the Dragon in several Pontiac Fieros I used to own and there isn't a more fun stretch of road anywhere!

Bill, sign me up...sorry I dropped off. When they did whatever changes to the forum I stopped getting e-mail alerts...I am also available to help whenever you need me.
My home phone is 919-650-1257
Cell phone 832-457-2719
E-Mail tunrein001@nc.rr.com
After this weekend I have no plans. Showed the Crossfire last weekend at the 21st annual Apex Jaycees show and brought home Top Three Domestic Original honors. I was up against a 30th anniversary mustang and four corvettes so I feel good this week.
Saturday I am entering both the Crossfire and the Dodge Nitro R/T in the Occoneechee show and that will be it for shows this year.
Here's a link if you want to check it out...should be a great show, they are overwhelmed with response for this first annual.

Give me a buzz next week with a list of idea's or items that need to be taken care of.

Hi Terry,
I knew you were busy. Thanks for the offer, I'll take you up on that, so you can cover for me while I'm gone a couple weeks in Oct this year.
This is going to be a Big Meet at the T of D, and I can use All the Help I can get.
I'll call you Monday or Tuesday, so we can do some planning & make some arrangements.
Thanks again for your help!

Bill

BTW Congrats on the Great Wins & Good Luck this Saturday!

I just picked up my '04 dark gray coupe yesterday.

My wife and I will definitely be there. Looking for some guidance as to where most owners will be staying and where everyone plans to meet up.

I did this several years ago with the Fiero group and we all stayed at the Microtel in Franklin, NC. There are some nice back roads between Franklin and Robbinsville or Fontana, and a lot of restaurant options in Franklin if anyone is interested. Just a suggestion...

I look forward to meeting other owners in Nov. I have a lot to learn about my new coupe.

Hi Bob, Great News, I'll add you to the List as confirmed! We haven't worked out all the Details yet for Sat & Sun, but hope to have some by the end of the week b/4 I fly to Venice.
We are tentatively planning on our first Meet(ing) at 10AM on Sat the 10th, but I'm not sure yet what side of the Dragon or where it will be. Also a late afternoon meet & one on Sun AM, for those still there & the late comers. Thanks again for the commit!
