From their website, it sounds like the kart2kart place has better carts. I went go-carting over the weekend at one of those Dave & Buster's type places (where they have carts, video games, putt-putt, etc.), and they had the carts so limited that I could have walked the course quicker. It was really lame and took all the fun out of it.

my schedule changes daily, but I will try to arrive by noon Friday, and you know I am in for the cart racing where ever it is...I will be in Illinios until late Thursday evening, traveling home, uncovering the car and heading for Detroit, so if I look grumpy and tired you know why....lol....and, yes I will need a beer by then...what a month...hell, what a year....
Guys - Quick update.
Prowler Club has graciously invited us to join their activities. They have some great stuff planned, but most overlap with our functions.
Since I'm local, I'll take the tour of the Lingenfelter museum on Wed. The Chrysler museum party, tour and drive-in movie on Thurs nite sounds like a lot of fun. Any takers from our Thurs. crew? Let me know.
The e-mail with their list of Dream Cruise activities is below:
Jim,
I just wanted to touch base regarding Dream Cruise. You're welcome to join any of our activities, a couple are priceless. Just let me know.
Regarding parking at the high school, I will park the Prowlers on the grass inside of the center circular drive. If it's okay, I'll park the Crossfire's on the grass between the circle and the executive parking lot. It's the flattest area with good visibility and easy entrance and exit. I will be in place before 10:00 with cones and a sign indicating that parking is by permit only. You mentioned that you would have something in the windshields for me to see. CJ uses a bright color 8 1/2 x 11 sheet with Prowler Parking to make it easy for me to see. I let everyone in via the circular drive closest to the executive parking. It would help to understand how your cars will be identified. Also, do you have any special needs or requirements?
Here's a cut'n paste of what we're doing for Dream Cruise this year. The Lingenfelter collection and Harold Sullivan's garage are not to miss activities if you're available.

Many of you have toured his car collection at Dream Cruise in the past - he has one of the most awesome MOPAR collections anywhere. Harold's new garage was featured in the August, 2009 issue of Mopar Magazine. It is awesome!!! This will be one activity you won't want to miss!!!

FRIDAY, AUGUST 20, 2010
We will be spending the day in Flint, MI for activities and the Back to the Bricks event. Lyann Somers & Karen Gatlin have planned a great day for the Prowler owners.
Depart on city bus for City of Flint historical tour*
including the Glenwood Ave.
Flint has a rich history and a combination city/cemetery tour will focus on the people whose influence created General Motors and the bustling city that gave birth to GM. We start with a guided bus tour, then a guided walk through Glenwood Cemetery, and finish on the bus. Glenwood Cemetery is on the State Register of Historic Places. The names on the gravestones situated along the winding roads and rolling hills are a “who’s who” of auto pioneers and Flint’s founding fathers. They include the first white settler in Flint, and the men who transitioned the carriage business into the automobile business, and ran GM.
Not an ordinary tour, history will “come to life” as you enjoy the guided walk through the cemetery established in 1857, two years after Flint became a city.
Afterward, we will stop for lunch and head back to our designated parking in the heart of the Back to the Bricks event. You will be able to participate in all the ongoing activities and check out all the awesome cars.
Cost for the bus tour / tailgate party will be $12.00 per person.

Can I join you on Wednesday for the Lingenfelter collection tour? A friend saw it and had nothing but good things to say about it. Plus how can you go wrong with a guy who drives around Brighton in a Bugatti Veyron. I'm also thinking of doing the Prowler Club thing on Thursday. They certainly have scheduled some great activities.
Thanks

You're in for both. The Lingenfelter collection is on par with Jay Leno's.
Anyone else who wants to attend any of the Prowler Group's activities, let me know asap so I can advise them.
