Valk, my brother (owner of 2005 Crossfire) and I are attending. I will be in a (2005 Mercedes), if driving separatly. We're from Novi, Northville area and will be there Saturday morning. I have a meeting that moring, I'm trying to get out of but, if we're late to the caravan, will we still be able to get into the parking lot? And what are the fee's, if applicable? Thanks see you guys in a few weekends, lets hope for another great day like last years, maybe 5 degrees cooler though

 

william91 - Shouldn't be a problem saving a space for the Crossfire, but since this is a free, Chrysler-sponsored parking area, the MB will have to park elsewhere. We will probably be pulling into the lot around 10:30 -11.

For those who aren't driving a Crossfire, there is a large public parking area just one block East of where we will be parking. I think they charged $5.00 last year.

The Lingenfelter collection is in Brighton, correct? Jim we can't make it with the time/distance and work. Tell the Prowler Club thanks for inviting us to tag along, wish we could go see them. We've gone to the Roush Car Museum earlier this year, filled with all kinds of cars, race, passenger and custom was very nice. Would be a good GTG for us locals one Sunday.

 

I just got a room at the hotel and they are all sold out of 2 queen bed. And yes the group discount is not availiable any more, believe me I just tried. Ohh well I am at the hotel woth out a discount unless you oledoc want to "hook me up" with an employee discount. I have the confermation # and willing to PM it over to you if you wanna make a call and get me a discount!

I'll be passing out parking passes Wed/Thurs/Fri for parking at the Cruise, and will be there with the Prowler group around 10-10:30 Sat a.m. helping park the cars. What time will you be there? We'll get you in.

 

Beaner, also contact Musclefan21, he tried to hook me up with a discount, but the timing was off. Give him a PM, I think it is fairly easy to do a friends/family discount, save you some cash....

OK, I'll be leaving the hotel around that time with the entourage, so I'll make sure the Prowler guy at the parking area is aware of your arrival. His name is Bob.

If at all possible, you should try to make the hotel, or meet us somewhere along Woodward to take the the morning Cruise with the group.

 

I'll be driving from Lansing in the morning so going up to the hotel is a bit out of the way. If Woodward is open and you will be heading south from the hotel I could just catch up with you north of 13 mile when you are heading down to 13 mile

Crossfire Dream Cruisers - Here's a refined agenda, and I'll post the final-final next week:

WED - Tour the Lingenfelter car collection with the Prowler Club from 3-5.
Steve & JM - I'll call or pm you with the details. Prowler group is leaving their hotel at 1:30, so I'll either drive out with them or meet you guys somewhere in Brighton for lunch.

THURS -Early XFire arrivals can cruise Woodward and then meet at Royal Oak Mongolian BBQ outdoor dining area for dinner at 6:30. PM your headcount to rvd4now so he can make the reservations. Prowler club is having a Chrysler museum tour and then outdoor drive-in movie on the museum grounds later that evening, so PM me your interest so I can let them know how many X-Fires will be in attendance.

FRI - Meet in hotel parking lot at 1:30 and drive to Chrysler museum for a 2-4 tour of the museum and viewing of the original Crossfire concept vehicle that was first shown at the 2001 Detroit Auto Show. Note: I'll be at the museum when the group gets there, and we'll be parking in the circular drive in front of the museum. Late arrivers: No prob, just get there when you can. Museum fee is $4.
Then: Open time - meet/greet/tailgate at the hotel lot until about 6:00 when we drive over to The Red Ox for dinner. I've reserved the entire outdoor patio and we'll have either coned-off pkg or on the grass in front of the restaurant. If you haven't done so already, PM me your headcount so I can advise the Red Ox.
Woodward cruising or hotel lot after that.
PM Needswings (Rob) your interest in cart racing on Fri.

Also, my driveway detail area (approx 10 mins from hotel) is open for out-of-towners who want to clean up their cars anytime Thurs/Fri and early Sat a.m.

SAT - Meet at hotel lot at 8:30 for a 9:00 departure time to the display area at 13/Woodward. We'll take a route from the north end of Woodward down to about 8 or 9 mile and the back to the assigned parking at 13/Woodward. Note:I will peel off from the group as we pass 13 mile to set up the pkg. Make sure you get a pkg pass from me to be dislayed on your dash/windshield as you park at the display area.
Everyone is on their own for Dream Cruise activities, lunch, etc...
Dinner is at 5:30 at the Moose Preserve (I'm still working to push this time back a little). PM me your headcounts so I can finalize the soiree at the Moose. After dinner, either back to the hotel pkg lot or cruise Woodward until they close it (usually at 9).

SUN - Open activities (photos, BSing in the pkg lot, etc...) as most depart. See Mackinac Island thread for those taking the northern Michigan tour.

It's important that you PM rvd4now, Needswings and me with your headcount in the above activities. We'll keep track offline, but will need the info for reservations.
