What a great time! It was great to see old friends and meet some new. The weekend went by so quickly (as it usually does). I would have loved to have spent more time there and chat more with everyone. I was so happy to be able to take my wife along this time. We made it to Jonesboro, Arkansas last night and will be heading to the KC area today to visit my uncle. I'll post photos once I get home on Wednesday night.

I was a great time thanks to Mark for letting me join his group and showing me a nice way there, Rob, thanks again for everything. thanks for putting this GTG together, I had a blast on the runs. My small GPS showed me where each and every turn was, so those that think i was faster this year,, yea I was but only in the stright aways, with my GPS Mr. mogoo,, showing me when and how big or small the next trun was i was able to get to sometimes 100 mph then slow to 10 mph for the turn. thanks for all the members that joined us there . 32krazy!Quote:

I made it home last night but not completely without a problem. I have always thought I had one of the most reliable Crossfires on the road. with all the common known issues, the only thing I ever had to fix was the crank position sensor and that was at 87,000 miles and I now have over 90,000 miles on the car. Well yesterday we were about 33 miles from home going through a small town when my car would not shift out of first, the speedo didn't work and the BAS/ESP lights were lit along with a CEL. I had my hand held scanner with me and it turned out to be the speed sensor in the trans. I could not clear this with my cheap scanner so I disconected the battery as a last resort and was able to drive home without any trouble. I ordered new parts today and since the pan has to come off, I will do a full service and install blue top shift solonoids while I am in there. BTW, the sensor is part of the electronic conductor plate in the trans and you have to buy the whole plate. Chrysler sells this for $398, MB dealer about $100 less and OE Discount Parts sells it for $186.
I am already looking forward to the next Dragon! What fun!!!! I hope in the future we can have more of a formal planned mixer. There were so many people I didn't get to meet.

It's tough to see everyone in just a day or two...I am guilty as well...glad you made it home... Just remembered, I was going to give that old grille I had... If that is something you still want, I will get it to you...just shipping... Glad to have finally met you in person. Your build is quite a unique car. Much different than the monsters Rudy has built... Your looks more modest, but, can be awakened...lol...just like the Dragon....

I do hope next year we grill out like we did the previous fall Dragon.
That was a great time and got us all together a little earlier in the day and allowed us to all converse more with more people and I missed that this year.

It really is needed to get everyone together for a few hours to really be able to meet and greet.
I will make this a priority in the agenda for the Fall 2012 GTG.
CICCI budgets money for this and I will be rolling over funds from this year into next years budget.
Thanks for all your feedback here.
This tells me we need to do it again and with even more $$ in the pot for next year I'm gonna do it up really good !!!
