Gary, not sure if TJ and I can make it but was wondering if you are doing the overnight in Ky on Thursday and meeting up with everyone like always? Didn't see anything on the forum about it yet.

 

Tentative plans :
Probably gonna work on Thursday and head to Florence, Ky. after work
Arrive there at the Comfort Inn around 10pm
Leave Friday morning as usual around 8am

The casino is Harrah's in Cherokee......about 40 minutes from the lodge.

I know we got alot new crossfire owners coming this fall, my need to get some name tags, for everyone for the frist night anyway,

 

For those of us who already have name tags from prior meets I suggest you bring one and wear it
For those who don't have a name tag may I suggest you make one that you can wear. (Screen name and real name)

We all gather in the lobby on Friday evening to kick off the GTG and most everyone also spend Saturday and Sunday evening together in the large comfortable furnished lobby at the lodge after dinner / dark

 

I'm in for using a washable marker and printing nick/name on forehead (but I aint going first!) LMAO

That would be a dragon to remember, it IS all about fun and fellowship and friends sharing a passion for our XF's

 

And the GenCoupes will be out standing around a camp fire down below the Grill. So if we run outta booze.....



Anyway, I've got my name tag from Fall 2009 - the color of my Roadster is different, but I'm the same.

(Of course, I AM a bit different......)

 

We are actually having are our "Craft Beer Octoberfest" (not sure which night but probably Friday) where we are having all those attending who can bring at least a 6 pack or two of a local brewed beer in their area they are coming from to share amongst the group to try out. Yall are welcomed to bring some too and come down and join the fun if you'd like.

I help out at a friend's brewery (happened to win midwest brews cup the last two years) and LOVE this idea, although we will be in Vegas so we cannot make this Dragon. Hopefully next year, I would bring some world beer cup winners with me, only available in central Indiana
