We had two good-weather Dragons in a row, our luck HAD to run out SOMETIME!

This was over on the Corvette fourm a few Days ago, The guy in the vette frist time up the Dragon, the guy on bike was ok ,Woow that had to hurt !!

 

I'm almost to the point of not driving The Dragon anymore. Incidents like this one, because people don't stay focused on this stretch of road, are becoming more frequent. In April, when we were with the New Beetle group in this area, I had three bikers come down a switchback on my side of the road! Had to get over as far as I could to the right so they would miss me!

 

Entering the danger zone....lol Just keeps you on your toes....

That just hurts to watch...you know they were both sick after that crash.... a lot of rookies up there this past Dragon meet. We helped a vertically challenged Harley rider out of the ditch as well...good thing nothing was coming from the other way too...always on the alert on the Dragon....

I just wonder what the look on his face was just before impact with the Corvette.
Oddly the Vette driver doesn't appear to have a look of panic in the photo seen here.
