6th Annual Fall 2012 - Tail of the Dragon GTG - October 5, 6, 7
Definitely plan on coming back next year hopefully to both spring and fall meets.
Mark my camera was stuck to my windshield with a $2 suction camera mount. It seemed to hold the small Panasonic camera still quite well. The sound is not to good, too much wind noise but the picture quality is not bad.
I couldn't persuade the wife that i needed a $300 go pro camera and mount.

After 4200 miles, 15 states visited (and new places visited), meeting up with old friends and meeting new friends, we finally made it home this evening. I even managed to fill in 5 states on my "States visited with my Crossfire" map. Nick, I did manage to fill Oklahoma finally.

Glad ya finally made it home Evan !!
That's a lot of miles for sure.
Bet you are ready to stay put for awhile now.
Now a good wash and detail and put her away for awhile for a rest
See ya next year I assume.
Later, Gary
It is a 17MP Sony point and shoot that does 60FPS 1080HD, makes for nice videos and half the cost of the gopro. The only way I would do gopro is if I was doing water oriented sports, or shooting from outside my car in the rain, in which case, it would be invaluable. I don't do any of those things, so I am safe.
Although, for the next Dragon, I am going to buy one of those inexpensive 1080P flip style camcorders and zip tie it to my front grille for Dragon runs, that should be awesome looking, and if I lose it, oh well, it was under $100...
Here is a video of Chuk, the strongman, helping out a biker who managed to take his bike into the ditch...
