Also, my Escort 9500 Radar Detector will be for sale at the Dragon - I bought it this past Spring but I have come to realize that the LAST thing I need is a radar detector - it makes me too brave! I'd rather take my occasional lump than have this thing with me!

 

Warn winch was installed yesterday.....just in case someone needs to be pulled from the woods.....or, I need to get myself out of a hole.

 

Been all over CarID over our Lexani wheels the last two weeks .. that we were told would be in 1st week of September. They get them today from Lexani and for only another 125 bucks they can get them on the UPS truck Friday and get them to us Monday. At least I get Tuesday to get them mounted up and on the car before our Wednesday morning departure...

Leaving for Texas Motor Speedway tomorrow.. and really wanted the winners circle photo with the new look too... Hope those wheels look twice as good in person as online since they ain't making this an easy transaction!

Hey, Im going to call the lodge, they sent me an email that I could get the group discount, so I got one question before I call them, it looks like I'm rolling by myself, my wife can't make it so how many days should I book my room for? This is my first time going so everything's new to me.

 

that is up to you. There will be early arrivals on Thurs and late leavers on Monday. I get there Friday evening and leave at noon Sunday. I really need to break that habit and stay longer....lol

For the record, according to my shrink, I am well beyond help.

Happened on theway to work this morning. However, I pulled the battery cable for 5 minutes and things seem fine now.


I have owned dozens of cars with Check engine lights over the last 40 years. Combined, they did not light up as often as the one on my Crossie.


I dropped a full can of SeaFoam in the tank Yesterday. That may have spooked the CPU


If it comes on again, I'll pull the codes.

 

Some stay Thursday night thru Sunday night including myself

It up to you but there are things to do Friday, Saturday and Sunday and people to hang out with Friday night Saturday night and Sunday night
Make the most of it and stay as long as you can

 

The best Dragon runs are early Monday AM. especially the fall run. No traffic and no cops. Cool air and warm pavement. Perfect conditions for NA or Supercharger.

I will be "sliding" in around 7-8 AM Friday morning and leaving around noon Sunday...all revved up for a fantastic meet...looks like it's gonna be a "frog strangler"...BTW, Franc, I hope you have me on the list for the BBQ?...See all next Friday...Remember: WING UP for BIGKID!!!...Carl
