This off subject of the CCA#6, but gotta a question about "code" readers for our crossies.

At the Fall 2014 TOD someone told me one can be obtained through a website which I thought was alterguage.com but couldn't find it on the net.

Hey Mark, Got my UltraGauge ordered. FYI they have a new model: UltraGauge EM Plus.
For a few bucks more....can't hurt to have a few more bells & whistles (I hope).

Added: Readiness Monitors - Emission Readiness -Gas & Diesel Engines
Added: Performance Measurements - Performance (Experimental) - measures both acceleration and braking performance.

This is all techy stuff which is a challenge for me, but since I apparently need to learn how to fix the car, better learn. Hope the gauge has only "good" codes for me!

You could try Torque, and it runs on your smartphone...

 

What is Torque.....assuming an app? How does that work.

 

Vacation approved at work. Room is booked. Arrive on Sunday, Leave Friday. I'm in for the BBQ and anything else you can throw at me......

 

Phone app for Android and iPhone. Will show codes, allow you to clear them, but also does MPG calculations, 0-60 times, etc. Just need a bluetooth OBDII bluetooth device.

Looks like I won't be able to make this trip... My sister made me an offer I can't refuse... A bucketlist type of trip... Her and I are going to conoe down the Yukon river next August... 5 days of conoeing and camping in the wilderness between Eagle and Circle Alaska (158 miles)...
