Valk doesn't run the Spring event, I do.
You may commence your worship of me immediately.
(I will update the attendee list when I get to my hotel room tonight....)

Please sir Pizzalot may I attend the Dragon?
PLEASE POST YOUR NAMES, (both driver and if there will be one, passenger) as we are going to have badges with names on them this year.
(Check post two to see if I have your name(s) right - and also read the note about the attendee packages!)

Any of you bought your Crossfire new? I had a chance to buy a 2008 Red Roadster with 400 miles on it. I did not like the interior gray? The price was not too bad. I like the one I got it a 2005 red with white interior. My Hot Rod days are over. When I was young I was hell on wheels. Now ever one wants me to get out of there way. That ok with me. Everyday I drive a 35 Ford pickup. The funny thing everybody wants to buy it.

Re: 9th Annual Spring Tail of the Dragon GTG - March 31 - April 4, 2016
Ok, I have updated posts 2 and 3. I then noted the changes in post 5 as I said I would do.
YOu can always check post 5 to see if and WHEN I changed something.
Anyway, now we have maps for ALL runs displayed and a lot of new information about "Pizza's Sunset Cruise" on Friday and Saturday (yea, it's gonna be offered both days and I go into why in post 3 - I THINK I have an answer to a complaint we've had for several Dragons).
The attendee packets are about done and will be both emailed (to those who have read the notice in the bottom of post 2) and handed out in hard, color copy form when you arrive. Name tags with your name and other info will be waiting for you as well.
There is a CICCI sponsored dinner on Saturday evening where we can all get together and talk and eat - arrangements for that are not done yet, so nothing more can be said but it IS happening.
My/Our goal is to have the electronic form of the attendee packets emailed by February 1. And again, all that comes in that package will also be in full color, hard copy form waiting for you at check-in.
Happy winter January to all - it's even crappy here in North Georgia - I've driven my car less than 100 miles this month.
Technically, it is stored but I go visit it most every weekend and warm it up, drive it at least around the compound or 2-3 miles and exercise the top. But it IS winter, even here.
This thread is read by only a few members, so you won't get answered if you ask general questions like "who has bought their car new?" I CAN tell you THIS: almost NONE of us bought the car new. I can think of two guys who are still here that did, but that's it. I have had three of them and I was 2nd owner, then third and third.
But bring pictures of that truck....
Ok the rest of your post is off-topic for this thread - but THIS remark addresses an important point and I'm glad you posted it.
How you drive is not a determining factor when it comes to a Dragon weekend (you already know this, but others may not realize it). NO matter how you drive, the Dragon weekend is designed for you. We do a lot of different routes AND we separate into at least three 'classes' of drivers. SO MUCH of the weekend is not about driving, it's about friends and learning about your car and stories and inside jokes and avoiding Nick and his "Jungle Juice"......
Three Classes?
Tourist - take your time, enjoy the views, etc.
Moderate - Kinda like the tourist much of the time with some bursts of speed and high-G corners when the time seems right; some chance of meeting Larry Law and paying a few "tourism fees" that the Tourist class never pays
Pants on Fire - This is a rush, not for everyone. SOMEONE gets a ticket every Dragon and just last year, a record was set for number of citations and cost of citations - can't remember if it was Spring or Fall: Every driver in the group was cited on one stop. (Two of us bring a lot of cash, just in case they won't trust you to pay up....)
