And if there is ANY way you can get up there by 9am, you could go with us to the big dinner Friday

Try to make it to the Fontana Lodge by 9am on Friday so you can join us for the run to Franklin, NC for the Friday BBQ at a mountain house

I have been busy as the dickens but definitely will join "Crossfire in the South", Pizzaguy! In addition, I will make every effort to make it to the hotel by 9am. If I miss it, please send me to the GPS coordinates and I
will catch up. Although not a big fan of BBQ, I can count on good company, as well as a terrific drive!

First time was a BBQ but, actually just grilled burgers, beans and such
Last year was southern style BBQ which to Yankees is just like spicy roast beef and pork. Lots of sides and desserts.
Food is goooooooooooooood and the beer is better!
Jim and Trish put on a good feed and if the weather permits, entertainment is promised.

Susan and I should be into Fontana 7:00 am for some Breakfast and to unload some of our stuff , we are so ready for this road trip that we even plan on staying few extra days at Fontana that week . here a few pictures from the past meets

First time was a BBQ but, actually just grilled burgers, beans and such
Last year was southern style BBQ which to Yankees is just like spicy roast beef and pork. Lots of sides and desserts.
Food is goooooooooooooood and the beer is better!
Jim and Trish put on a good feed and if the weather permits, entertainment is promised.
The view, from their deck alone, is worth the trip

Can anyone assist me and provide me with some instructions on how to set up my scanners? Time ran
out during last ToD run and could not get them set up before chasing "Pizzaguy" all over NC. The scanners are Baofeng UV-5R. If you can provided general guidelines and frequency info, it would be much appreciated!
