I just emailed Red Dog (Bob) about Branson since he's heading up the plans for the stopover. I'm going either way for Saturday night I just wanted to stay at the same hotel as everyone else. It will be nice to see you again Bob.

 

Just made hotel reservation and sent money for Tuesday dinner.

Not sure which car yet but it will be a Crossfire and it will be aero blue!

 

Current numbers for CAA8.....

We have 29 rooms booked and 40 cars on the attendance list ??

25 total signed up for group dinner

 

Maybe they aren't staying there, or brought tents.

 

I was just wondering, I will be coming from northwest Alabama, and it is a long enough trip for a stopover. I don't know that much about Arkansas, so does anyone have any suggestions as to a route or maybe a convoy. My reservation start on Sat. so I plan on leaving here on Fri. morning with a stopover ,,, somewhere.

 

Attached is part of a route we used 2 years ago on our return to South Carolina. I just reversed the route.

 

Some of us are finalizing plans for a little PRE CAA#8 fun spending a couple of days in Branson MO. I have started a new thread with the details.

I am sad to say that Toby and I will not be able to make it this year. I did pay for the diner all ready. If there is a way for me to get my money back please let me know. I had open hart surgery last month and I won't be able to travel that far.
I really was looking forward for CAA#8.

 

Please sir, may we have some more...it was such a blast the first time. Diane and I would love to be there again. We will be bringing both XFires so the parade can be awesome.
We will also be attending the dinner...I'll post over there too.

If anyone wants to convoy or join me along the route from NC to AR, let me know. I plan to leave very early Saturday morning (prob about 4am) and stop overnight in Marriott Hotel in Paducah KY (already booked) then on to AR with an early start on Sunday arriving early afternoon.

 

Hey Andy we're going to be in that area that night we had not made hotel reservations yet give me the number of the motel you're staying at , then Susan and I can follow you to Eureka Springs the next day

I'm leaving Myrtle Beach around midnite Sat....taking the interstate route 95 to Atlanta...then to Birmingham...thru Miss. and on to Ark...it appears that I will be running somewhat parallel to your route...I should be arriving early Sunday afternoon...drive safe...looking forwarding to seeing everyone...
