Right now it looks to be Friday leaving the lodge at 9:30 AM on the usual route.

OK it is on for Friday the 6th. Leave the lodge at 9:30 AM. Leave the chateau when ever you wish.


The trip down takes 2 to 2.50 hours. One can make it back on 64 to Franklin and then to the lodge on the main highway in about an hour. Leave at 4:00 and get back n time to meet incoming members at the lodge.


The day is free with a great meal and lovely view with a wonderful couple. Bring a token gift, wine, a local micro brew beer if you like.


If it rains on Friday then the whole thing will move to Saturday.

 

Hey Mark my wife Mickie can't make the Fall Dragon this year due to a new job but instead change her name to Lauren my daughter who's going to make the trip this time.

(DOn't know where you guys are getting these rooms, I was told they were pretty much booked last Monday - that is, until other group's room blocks release, in the next several weeks.)

I would check back in a few weeks , as Mark said some rooms that were block for other car groups may open up , or call back and have them put you on a list so if a room come open they will give you a call

I can't lead MOST of them, as they are not arriving till Friday.

 

Dragon Update: The lodge is flat booked, period. The other groups did book all their rooms and them some, just like we did, so no rooms will be released after all.

We have grabbed over 50 rooms (we had a contract for 40). They gave us more rooms in the lodge at the discounted rate, but all that is left is 3 Honeymoon Suites and 3 Cabana Rooms at $149 each. THERE IS A HOLD ON THESE SIX ROOMS FOR US ONLY until end of business today. Please call 800-849-2258 today if interested.

There will be one or two of us who will cancel due to family, work or car issues - so check this thread often as the date approaches, as the lodge wont' refund a room at the last minute, but you CAN sell your room to someone else!
