Sorry to hear you and Alan can't make it. We drove the "UP" together after Woodward and I was looking forward to seeing you again and to introduce my wife, Jessie.

As you may have noticed we are coming in a day early and extended our stay at the B&B for an entire week. We think the B&B is a great choice for the groups primary gathering site. They have a special weekly rate available if you do a little searching on their website. So for an extra few bucks you can spend more time in St. Francisville and even though we have never been there I am without doubt there is more to see and do than is possible in three days. SO, we are staying until Thursday checkout and would be happy to cruise the local area with any other Xfire owners! We also have reservations already made in Mobile, AL for Fri & Sat so we can finally stop and see the Battleship Memorial Park and take in all the that site has to offer before we head back to our home.
St Francisville is a port-of-call for the paddlewheel boats that cruze the Mississippi. There must be plenty to see and do just in that immediate area or they would not pull in there.

Great idea! Maybe more people will do the same and make a week of it. Thank you for letting us all know about the Weekly Rate. That was not mentioned to us when we applied for the Group Rate, so that is good to know. I will call the hotel to find out the details of that and then add that to the OP.

These roads and part of the country have been on my short list of must experience places. I am working hard on finding the right manual Crossfire Roadster. If I am successful in my quest I will be signing up.
Hope to meet you there. Been following your posts from Florida to NJ to where ever you are in the SE now.
I have been to a few events but never to the Natches Trace and have always wanted to see the old plantations out that way. The owners and the cars are a big part of it, as well. It is an impressive thing to see so many uncommon Crossfires at one time.
Thank you. If you are from NE Alabama we are likely cousins.

We now only have 3 rooms left in the Host Hotel. This is good and bad. The good thing is that we only have 3 rooms left to book the entire place (which was our goal - To have the place to ourselves!). The bad news is, we still have 3 rooms left and only 2 weeks to book them.
If anyone is booked at the Best Western, I would be grateful if you would change your reservation to the St. Francisville Inn.
If you have not booked yet, but intend to, please book soon so that we can get the entire place booked. I would hate to have to "tone things down" if non-Crossfire Owners are booked there. Thanks.

Also, if everyone could PM me (or e-mail me) your address, I have some things to mail to you to get everyone excited about CAA9!
Oh, and one more thing... Please e-mail me a good picture of the car you are bringing. I will be making a surprise for everyone attending!

UPDATE: There is no one booked at the Best Western and the Host Hotel (St. Francisville Inn) only has one room left. Get that last room booked if you are on the fence about attending.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us with this adventure. It is going to be SO fun!
