Ok, I THINK the attendance list in post 2 is up to date.
Seems like there may be a few on Facebook that are sharing rooms with some of us here that I don't know about. The car count is 77 (three being rentals or non-Crossfires) but there may be a few more that don't show up on the Lodge list due to room sharing.

Not sure I can get the list any more accurate.

 

As a rookie to this event....how many normally attend this event. What's the most to attend one?

 

I think the record is 83 cars, but as to how many PEOPLE, that is a hard one to answer. Ten years ago, most attendees came alone. Today, most cars have couples in them.

We appear to be at 80 cars now. We are four from the record, if everyone shows up who says they are coming, and I believe that will be the case, as we have had four cancel already and those are off the list.

Most groups will be leaving the lodge Friday by 9:30am at the latest - just keep that in mind.

We must have a LOT of people sharing rooms, Jim. I have only 69 rooms but 84 cars.
I keep being told the lodge is booked by the lodge staff, yet people are somehow still getting rooms.

 

I am in Blairsville Ga and can drive home in an hour or so in case i don't get a room. last year i got a room 2 weeks before the meet.
I think if other car clubs members cancel their room, they give them to whomever calls (at the right time.) I think you can add myslef and wife Mary to the list do me a favor next to chriscat ,,greg if he does attend ,and myself Next to our name Put V8

That is true, I talked to Marie Friday, she said that as of 5pm Thursday the place was booked. But over the weekend I have a newcomer that posted who apparently got a room.
People cancel - happens all the time.

I'll add you, I dont think Chriscat is going.

There are a handful of entries on the attendance list who apparently cancelled without mentioning it.
I'm trying to weed them out so we have an accurate list (for planning and historical reasons )

 

Just like to give heads up to the guys that may be coming down 75 into Kentucky , south of Lexington, there is a lot of road work being done ,it will be that way until Lake City Tn. this can cause big slow downs on 75 , Just keep Alternate Routes in mind going south , and don't get lost or , well I will let the picture tell the story LOL !!!!
