Update From Terry:Seriously folks, hotel rates are outrageous, and we have seen the rates change, and hotels sell out for the time that we are planning our event. Book your rooms NOW if you plan on going.
John and I have made contact with MANY hotels and motels directly, along with all the corporations, and had no luck getting a group rate any better than over $300 per night.

We decided that we needed to look at other cities, and different booking companies to see what we could come up with. Below is the information that we have come up with.
The budget friendly hotel that we found, is Roadway Inn at Morro Bay. We are members of Choice Hotels, and they offer a 11% discount for their members. ****The membership is free*****
Arrival date is Thursday July 14th
Check-out is Monday July 18th
We paid $125 per night on average; this rate allows you to cancel on or before July 13th. They have a lesser rate with no cancellation options, should you choose to do that.

This location is pet friendly with a weigh limit of 40 lbs. Max 2 dogs.
Seaside Inn Morro Bay allows Pets as well, but no weight limit is stated
