Here is an article I found of the Meadow View in Kingsport from the motorcycle magazine "RoadRUNNER" . It highlights the hotel and some of the points of local interest with recommended day trips: Meadow Veiw, Kingsport, TN

Just about three months away........... I missed Eureka Springs, I missed John's memorial - I anticipate making the fall event but have not made a reservation yet.
There is a chance I will not make ANY event this year.
But I encourage all to attend, this is really an entire new event - altho the 'Snake' meets we've had were in the same area - wonderful events but only 7-9 cars. This event will be huge compared to that.....
We have both of our Crossfires for Sale if anyone needs one for the Fall Event. Cars are in NW Georgia.
2005 SRT6 Coupe, 91k miles, $10,500 obo
2005 Limited Raodster, Red, 31k miles, $12,500 OBO

I think I got a guy here in Dallas/Fort Worth that wants an SRT Coupe.
I have contacted him.

Here is another widely used route (beside those listed on the Appalachian Backroads website) that many car clubs & bikers use in the Johnson City, TN area.
Since we're just over 2 months out on this event, this could be a good time to talk about radios. Does @pizzaguy have any current suggestions, or offerings of radios for this year's event?

It is doubtful I will have more Kenwoods by then. I will return to this thread within 72 hours with a recommendation for what is currently available that meets our needs.

Re: Crossfire Fall Rally 2023 - September 21-25
Hello all, We've made our hotel reservation and are REALLY looking forward to seeing OLD (and getting older) Crossfire friends and meeting NEW Crossfire friends. We will be bringing our two tone Crossfire SRT Coupe. This was a pretty rough car when we bought it but we dumped money and time into refurbishing it. It's STILL not finished but it has become our favorite Crossfire (if not our fastest).
Cindy and I will be there with our two fur babies . . . Mickie and Minnie
SEE YOU ALL IN KINGSPORT TENNESSEE ! SAFE TRAVELS! MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!
PS - I tried several times to edit this post and make the photos smaller but failed. It sucks getting old!

I suspect you put a LOT more TIME than money into that car.
And sizing photos for this forum works very oddly. I get VERY frustrated with it.
About damn time we heard from you two again...........
ARG!
First Covid & quarantine. (But we have been successful and avoided it to our knowledge)
Then I’ve had 5 surgeries which killed attendance.
Good news is I’m able to drive again.
It’s been since 2019.
