Description:
This Crossfire is one of the best of the best available. ALL maintenance is up to date or has been done ahead of schedule. Every time I drive it the car gets compliments. It has no mechanical problems, needs NOTHING and is ready to drive. Everything functions as it should (everything means EVERYTHING... heated seats, power top, A/C, active spoiler, remotes, etc.). There are zero leaks and it won't leave a single drop of anything on your garage floor. I would drive it to Alaska with no trepidation. I'm a 60 year-old computer programmer who's worked on my own cars my entire life because I am meticulous to the point of perfection. A log-book/records-book comes with the car documenting all service procedures performed.

My username on the Chrysler Crossfire forum is "WD40". Below are links to where I took pictures and documented on the forum some of the service procedures I performed...
------------------------------------------------------
Disassembled HVAC system, cleaned & removed all leaves/debris, installed new cabin filter & new wipers...

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...tml#post926334
------------------------------------------------------
Disassembled, cleaned & reassembled the sticking heater valve and flushed & refilled system with new coolant...

------------------------------------------------------
Installed a "back up" camera...
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...tml#post934831

I purchased and installed a BRAND NEW vanilla steering wheel part# YA35BWNAA that's now a discontinued part. Twenty year-old vanilla steering wheels on most Crossfires look mighty ugly! There's a "remanufactured" wheel on EBAY right now, but you'll have to spend $1,322.59 to find out what "remanufactured" means!

------------------------------------------------------
Replaced a burned-out brake-light bulb...

To anyone looking for a Crossfire and considering the purchase, jump on this one. I have talked and learned from WD40 a ton and I can personally vouch for his pride in ownership. He is someone who is not only mechanically an expert but is huge into detailing. There would be no peeled dashboard, messed up paint, damaged clear coat on this vehicle as I know how clean and meticulous he is.
I hope you find a buyer but I also hope this forum doesn’t lose you. If you do ride off into the sunset, hope I can bug you from time to time for some more tips and tricks Good luck!!

I think Crossfires are one of the few sports cars where automatics go for more than manual-transmission cars, by a noticeable amount.

As excited owners, who should find our cars to be somewhat special, I have seen so many Facebook posts where sellers were bashed about the prices of their X-fires. I don't know if it's jealousy, envy or just stupidity but I can't believe how many so called "club members" frown upon a Crossfire that in their opinion is price on the higher end.
So what? It should be a great sign for all of us to see Crossfire prices rise. Sure, most of us might have not purchased their vehicles thinking investment but when you are dealing with classics and collector items that becomes a real possiblity. And even if it doesn't, most people would love to sell their cars in a few years at the same or preferably higher prices.
But our own community sometimes leaves bad comments on cars that are really just priced accordingly and according to the current used car market, which has been up across the board.
Sometimes I find our own community is working the hardest against itself.
Oh well....that said, you are offering a beautiful and exceptionally well maintained ride for a very fair price!! Someone should jump on the opportunity if you are in the market for a Crossfire and want a vehicle that will be virtually repair free for years to come.
I would not entertain any low ball offers or people trying to bite off more than they can chew by making offers on cars they can't afford.

About Facebook Marketplace they say...
"The ease of browsing for items to buy on Facebook means you could run into people who are just window-shopping. They might set up an appointment to look at your car but fail to show up, wasting your time."
I haven't had exactly that happen, but they got the general sentiment right.

But don't give up, post it anywhere and just take your time. You have a beautiful ride and you know it's worth. There are real enthusiasts out there who know what his car is and how much of bargain it is. It just takes a little while to find someone who appreciates it for what it is.
It's so wild to me, maybe I'm biased but the Crossfire looks better than most modern sports cars or at the very least can keep up with them. It's German engineering and the M112 engines are known for being one of the most sturdy engines Mercedes ever built. I always loved German cars due to their manufacturing and quality of course but I prefer the American styling. The slogan "Autobahn meets Route 66" describes this vehicle best.
I loved my Coupe for 11 Years and love the recently acquired SRT6 Roadster. I wouldn't want to trade it for anything else. Stick to your guns, you have a beautiful Crossfire and I know how much time and effort you spent on keeping it pristine inside and out.
