Smile First question for the group

We're meeting the auto shipper in a parking lot tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. My wife will want to put the top down for the 7 mile drive home. Anyone want to run me through the procedure of putting the top down so I don't have to fumble through the owner's manual before we come home?

Thanks,
Smurfsdad

There will be a handle located in the center of the top next to the windshield. Pull handle down and twist aprox 1/4 turn clockwise that will release the top. Push top up by hand aprox six to eight inches. In the center console behind the gear shift lever and mirror adjustment **** you will see a button with the picture of the car with the top up and the top down. Push the button for top down and keep finger on button until you hear a beep. SMILE and drive away. key must be on or car running to operate top.

You also have to make sure the divider in the trunk is set up and locked in position to conceal the top that's coming down. The top won't go down if the partition is not in place or if the trunk is not closed securely.

First, make sure you open the trunk and check to see if the trunk insert divide is up. If not, reach to the back wall and pull the insert forward unfolding it. Once it's unfolded lift the insert up to lock it into position. Once this is done then go through the procedure of unlocking the handle, pushing the roof up until it stays on its own and then pressing the top up/down button in the center consul.

Cool Re: First question for the group

Also...on some builds you will have to press the center button in the handle before you can turn the handle.

And remember, no picking your nose when the tops down...people can see you. LOL. Enjoy the new ride.
