Default My 6 Speed Seems To Jump Out Of Gear In 3 Gear

I have been having trouble with my transmission/engine. As I accelerate hard in second and thrid it acts like it has jumped out of gear or the engine dies or misses for only a second.

Has anyone been expericening this problem?

Never jumped out of gear. BUT....the ignition will cut off at red line and it's easy to exceed in 2nd or 3rd gear.

well it did jump out of 1st a few times but other then that it's really difficult shifting into first/reverse once the motor is running & the transmission isn't in gear then try to shift into first or reverse but any other gear shifts fine. the dealership is saying it's the transmission which i don't believe i know a lot about cars but no pro but i know a lot but that doesn't sound right

I've never had a problem with it jumping out of gear. But it is not the smoothest shifting car, esp from 1st to 2nd.

Here's a trick I learned a long ago, when synchros were not as good. From a stop, first shift into second and then into first. It makes getting into first gear on both my Audis and my roadster much easier - very smoothly in fact.

PS - Depress the clutch when shifting.
