Default inferno red

Just purchsed a 2005 red crossfire limited roadster. Cannot believe the people at supermarkets and local coffee shops that stop and say they love the car. I can see this for a new model, but for a 2005. Just amazing. The original factroy sticker shows the color as inferno red cryslal pearl coat which was listed as an option for $150.00. Went to local dealer to get some touch up paint. He only had blaze red listed for 2004 and 2005 crossfires. Is this the same color????

Congrats on your new ride! Great color choice. I too was confused by the inferno & blaze names. But, they are really both the same. Check out the color numbers/names at www.paintexpress.com

Enjoy your new ride!

Commonly interchanged.
Do not trust the name alone - use the actual paint code on the car.
(there are variations)

I find that the "worse" part of having an inferno red roadster ltd is you can never get out of a parking lot with out 3 conversations. I had a guy say he waited 15 mins for me to return to ask some questions.

A fine choice indeed!

Just an observation:

You will now notice that Corvette and Mustang owners hate you.

But they never walk up to find people stating at their rides!

Jealousy can be SO ugly.

I guess I park far enough away in the parking lot to avoid most people. It is interesting to watch people stop and stare at the car though.

gianna, congrats on your purchase. Red is definitely the BEST color for a Crossfire.
