has anyone figured out that second light on that button
on the air recirculation button which is next to the defrost button has two lights when i push the button one lights up red but i noticed theres another spot on the button that doesnt light up at first i thought if i push it twice it would light up like the seat warmers but nothing could it be for the cab filters one for driver and one for passenger
This is what lights up the second light- Residual Engine Heat Utilization (REST)
With the engine switched off, it is possible to
continue heating the interior for a short while.
Air volume is controlled automatically. Select a
temperature for each side of the passenger
compartment. Set the air distribution control switch to
the desired position.
To select, turn the key in the ignition switch to the ACC
or the OFF/LOCK position or remove. Press the recirculation
button. The indicator light in the button illuminates.
This function selection will not activate if the
battery charge level is insufficient.
To cancel, press the recirculation button. The indicator
light in the button goes out. The system will automatically
shut off if you turn the key in the ignition switch to
the ON/RUN position, after approximately 30 minutes,
continue heating the interior for a short while.

It works great on a cold day. If you stop at a store and when you come out your car is still nice and warm. The key deosn't need to be in the ignition for it to work so you can lock you car.

Believe that the auxiliary electric water pump circulates the still warm water in the engine cooling system through the heater core so that you can still have heat while the car is turned off.
Never thought about turning it on so that when I return the car will still be warm inside. Gonna have to try that.

Some people use this feature with the AC to blow out the cool air from the system so they don't get that musty-mildew smell when the fan is turned on.
Does the Limited model have an electric water pump or just the SRT models? I use the option after I run the AC, never thought about the heat side of it.
