Did the insurance company give you your wrecked car? If so, you should pull your drive shaft out. If I had a donor shaft then DSS could build a one piece shaft and start producing and selling them to us. A one piece would be a great up grade for these cars. If you can pull your shaft out then I'm sure I can get some users to go in with me on shipping to DSS.

I learned yesterday that there was over $4000 damage to the Jeep Wrangler that hit me. No wonder my car was destroyed

Well,
If you really want to replace it I have a 2006 Black Roadster Limited w/Navigation for Sale. Gray Leather Interior. Manual Transmission. Bought new in 2007. Still has 15 months on Warranty. Has about 7,000 miles on it. I installed a hands free phone device called the parrot and also an fm modulator for an ipod. Always garaged until last month. It's sitting on my driveway under a carport with a cover on it. I don't drive it much since my company moved us downtown. I don't like shifting gears in stop and go traffic. I don't need to sell it and I am not going to give it away since these cars will become desired collectibles due to the low production run. If interested tell the insurance company they can buy this one for 18,750.

email me at focushere@aol.com if interested

I went out this afternoon and got my wind restrictor and rear diffusers, stuff out of the glovebox. Little stuff that I know they wouldn't know were ever there and I want for the replacement srt.

It's sort of like losing an old friend and then being asked to perform the autopsy...yuk.

At any rate, the damage is even worse than I originally realized. The console lid won't latch or stay closed, the entire frame is twisted.... total loss x 2.

Had to be gut wrenching... Couldn't you have snagged a few more things?

Oh, I am going to get the rest. I haven't formally settled with the insurance yet and I only took things that wouldn't be obvious to them... once I settle, I will get the rims, exhaust, stereo, etc.

I have to admit, it has taken a couple of hours to get over the crappy mood it put me in.

p.s. Thanks again for looking at the SRT, I sent him earnest money and locked in the deal this morning. Headed down on the 14th of May to get it.

Too bad you can't be here next weekend when we all take our cars to Texas Motor Speedway and run laps on the track. It will be a very large GTG. Your new car is housed five minutes from the speedway. You will love the car, it has really been taken care of. The car was bought with the intention to hold on to it for 20 years but a divorce is forcing sale. Let me know when you are in town as Lantana is part of Argyle.

I would suggest getting as many of the sensors you can off the wrecked car and anything else know to fail or costly to repair. Maybe the hood prop. I would like to get my hands on the steering wheels and air bag.

The hood prop is toast. Which sensors in particular should I snag?
