Could a catylitic converter foul up in today's cars??? I mean with unleaded fuel??? And given that most XF's are low mileage cars --- could that be it??
On the other hand, if you've been running cheap gas....? (Come to think of it, what ELSE COULD it be?)

I bought my 2006, new, approximately one year ago. At 7200 miles (little more than a month ago) the check engine light came on. Dealer checked, it was the "Cat", which they could not repair, only remedy was to replace. Fotunately, car was covered by warrenty. So yes, a "Cat" can foul up. And BTW, I buy only premium gas for my little baby.
