I ordered my switch on 10/15/09 and UPS sent me a e-mail stating that my order has been cancealed. Has anyone had this happened to them. I e-mailed Rudy and hopefully this gets resolved soon.

I placed my order on 10/14 and then today got a series of emails:

1. 11:22AM From service@paypal.com

Your package will be shipped by PayPal Shipping with UPS
Accelerated Industries used PayPal Shipping with UPS to create a shipping label for your package. Once the package is given to UPS, it will be on its way to you

2. 11:27AM UPS Ship Notification with tracking number

3. 11:43AM Accelerated Industries has cancelled the shipping label for the reason below:

Label Did Not Print

Note: Your package will no longer be shipped using PayPal Shipping with UPS.

4. 12:03PM UPS Ship Cancellation

At the request of Accelerated Industries, this notice alerts you the following shipment has been cancelled.

Nothing since then. I can see if a computer glitch prevented the label from printing that this would happen, but I would think it would be sorted rather quickly as well.

Rudy, do you know the status on this?

I saw one of these in action Saturday, they work as advertised. really sweet.

I also met Rudy, and I am sure he is unaware there has been a problem, and take care of this soon.

I got the same set of emails but assumed since I elected to have Rudy install mine at the Dragon he would be bringing the unit with him. I feel sure Rudy will get it sorted soon. Ordered 10/14/09 @ 8:03 AM.

I'm aware of the issue and all units were shipped out today. Problem was with paypal and printing shipping labels. Ended up doing them all manually. Everyone will have tracking numbers tomorrow.

Thanks

Thanks Rudy, I figured it was just something silly like that. My wife sells tons of stuff on ebay and uses USPS shipping all the time. Every now and then things don't go quite right when printing labels and she has to take a different tack.

No biggie......just really, really looking forward to getting this is all!!!!

Your hard work and attention is greatly appreciated.

Rudy called me an hour after posting and sending him a e-mail and explained the problem. All is well and thanks for the quick response on the problem. I was not concerned about receiving the product just wondered if anyone else received the cancellation notices.

What? A problem with the ever-perfect PayPal?

Never heard of such a thing. It always works. Simple. Easy. Reliable.
Must be something else. Can't be Paypal. Never. No Way. We should all have
our payroll done by PayPal.

Received mine today! Hope to get it installed tomorrow. Was trying to reach my sunglasses case while putting the top back up when I got home tonight. Anyone watching would have wondered what the heck I was doing! This will be great.

In the middle of installing the quick touch. Okay, my husband is doing it with limited help from yours truly. Trouble finding the tabs in the instructions but were able to pry things off with a plastic Tupperware orange peeler. He's doing the wire & soldering part now. Taking the opportunity to clean the console while it is apart. I am predicting success with the new switch.

Everything went well except he lost one of the bolts inside the console compartment. Hoping it doesn't rattle around somewhere. Anyway, it works beautifully. I didn't realize it would do one touch window operation also. Very very nice. Thank you for putting this together.

No problem. I'm glad the install went well and I'm glad you are happy with it.

FYI - I have a few left if anyone wants to get one before the Dragon. I will also be installing them at the Dragon if people are interested in one but don't want to do the install them self.

This is freaking sweet! One of the reasons I bought this car was cuz I liked to watch the top go up and down, but I never get to see it since I am in the damn car holding the button.

Let me know how I can get one of these bad boys!

Sweet! I just ordered one. I always look like a tard when I am trying to hold the button down with one hand and then put on my ballcap and seatbelt with the other hand.

I am going to have a local car audio shop install this for me. I am interested in the mirror deadswitch thingy as well......I did not see anything in this thread about how to do that. When my girlfriends are going down on me from the passenger seat they always screw up my mirrors by hitting this dumb thing.

Thanks.
