Hey James!

Good to hear from you! What do I have to come to Virginia and install those mirrors or what? I guess it would help if I sent the cheat sheet!

Anyway if the weather cooperates I will be at the Dragon so bring those HIDs with you and we'll see what we can get done. Oh by the way you are going to love the one touch!

See you at the Dragon and stay safe...

Respectfully,

Paul (MisterTaz)

Too rich for me! But I'm always up for a DIY challange!

Here it is folks! The tighed1 DIY Quick touch convertible top switch! Or as I like to call it, the Raise Or lower Convertible Kover or ROCK for short!

Ready to work without all of that messy soldering, wire splicing or tearing up your console.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Push convertible top button once for the direction that you wish the top to travel then apply the ROCK to the portion of the button that you selected. Top will raise or lower without futher pressing of the button. To utilize the raise or lower window function just leave the ROCK in place long enough to get the window into the up or down position. Remove ROCK device. SIMPLE!

COST:
$6.99 for the ROCK (that's one tenth the other price).

SHIPPING:
$4.95 unless you go for the larger version then shipping is $8.70.

I'll post pics as soon as I can take a break.

LOVE savin' you folks $$$$!

I believe you missed the thread about people that shouldn't own Crossfires if you think a rock is going anywhere near my car let alone on my center console and scratching it all to h*ll.

I will try to post a video of it working tonight or the next as it's all finished up and ready to go.
I would like to be on the list for the "SWITCH System", not the "Rock System". I'm sure the rocks are real nice and you could paint them to match your car and all but sorry guys they just kinda have that "Fred Flintstone" feel and look to me, I know I know I'm about to suffer the wrath of the "Rock System" fans but please keep in mind it's JMHO .

Rented a Sebring on vacation last month & not only did the top lock itself when it was done closing, you could also open it with the remote. I wasn't the driver so I don't know if it was one touch operation, but it also had a real nice headliner so you didn't see the rails/ribs (whatever you call them). It looked "finished". (We were on the Big Island in HI & we saw one of those red special edition roadsters - with a badly dented right rear rim & cracked tire, though somehow not flat; and a black limited roadster for sale at a dealer parking lot.)

yes, tighed1's has security features built into his...the ROCK can be used to fend off preditors, hold down those important papers lying in the passenger seat, or show it to the "road rage" idiot messin' with ya. Just a thought, but I don't mind holding the button, its like bonding with my car...

Only on Dan Root's coupe.

Hey Rudy, how hard are these to install? Maybe you've said somewhere. If so, forgive me as I've missed it.

Its a very straightforward installation and only takes about 30 minutes from start to finish. It took me a little longer to install into Paul's car but that was only due to taking photos for the installation manual. It's a just a matter of connecting 5 wires from the module to the harness in the car. Here is the installation PDF. This should help answer a lot of questions pertaining to the installation of the Quick Touch Top.

Thank you.

I like the way you think, Bill. That's a great idea. Anyone that wants one at the dragon can get theirs installed for $30. So you save on shipping and you can enjoy it on the way home.

They will be available for sale at the end of the week. Quick Touch Top for Chrysler Crossfire Convertible w/ Shipping
