Placed a deposit on a 2008 limited convertable with 6000 miles. Don't know much about the car but it sure looks nice in the pics that I have seen. Wondered if anyone would share their evaluation of their car and is it really cool. Any power to that motor? Always liked its looks but just passed it up because of price when new due to no money. Are Navs available or are they a waste? Maybe someone can share info on the 2008 as I haven't checked it out yet. Is there anything special about this car in options or is the a basic standard car?

There are some very technical folks on this forum who will give you a detailed response to your inquiry. If you are interested in a 'seat-of-the-pants' eval, the Crossfire gets up and goes whenever you need it to. It's fun to go on a roadtrip with Corvettes and punch it from 65-85 in a heartbeat.

Complaints? A few folks have gotten a car with bad karma however, the majority of us are really happy and loyal to the Crossfire. Biggest complaint - the cup holder.

Run a Carfax report on your car before purchasing it. If you have any hestitations, don't buy it. Travel far and wide to get the car that you really want and you will be ecstatic with every (s)mile that you drive! Enjoy!

 

If you are looking for a 2 seat roadster with style, go for it. If you appreciate German technology, go for it. If you like the unique style, go for it. These little cars give more smiles per gallon than most anything else.

The most appropriate thing to say is they are addicting.

BTW the factory NAV is OK, but you can get a portable that is up to date for a lot less and you can take it with you. I travel on business and it is a necessity.
