Default K&N Filter - Rockin'

Hey guys,

I know there has been lots of talk about the filters on here, but I just wanted to relate my latest findings.

I just changed out my filters with the K&N's and I do believe I can feel a slight difference in throttle response and the car does not sound as whiny as before when I put my foot into it (as I often do).

Should I reset my throttle dealio now that I have made this change?

Peace Out!

I reset my throttle any time I've been just putting around town-I just "taught" it to think I'm older and more feeble than I really am.

You must have a more sensitive asscelerometer than I do. I did not notice any difference. I do track gas mileage and there was a slight improvement there, plus the carbon deposits on the tailpipe are reduced (meaning it may not be running as rich).

The reason u feel more respond, is because more air/ dirt enters your engine. And makes it also sound faster. I had K&n , but could not get over the amount of dirt that enters engine( did research) for some ? able added HP. I went to the dual mb intakes w paper air filters. I fell Good!
