Default Where are the XFs? Time to bring them out.

Took a little family vacation last week. In 2850 miles of highway driving we saw exactly one Alabaster coupe heading north on I75 in KY. I was watching pretty carefully for XFs as we drove from southwest MI to Detroit, Cincinnati, Greenville SC, Tallahassee, New Orleans, and then back to MI. Had the family so the roadster stayed home, but once I get the youngest out to college, I foresee some serious road trips in my future. There are some great roads out there. Cut through the Great Smokey Mtn National Park and I can just imagine how much fun it would be in the roadster...it was still a nice drive in a turbo A6.

GOLDWING....I thought I've seen you around Holland...ur wing is usually up...right? I have a 2005 coupe, graphite metallic , and live on the north side. My husband and I just took the car to Fort Collins, Co...there and back...and no problems! (worried about it in hotel parking lots tho) (and also skirted a few hail storms in Colorado). Funny thing, didn't even see another Crossfire in all those miles...then pull into home and there you are and also have spotted a gold colored coupe a few times, even driving in the snow like I try to do. Will probably run into you sooner than later, Holland is a small town

Mine is still stuck in the garage. We are having a nice evening of "thundersnow" with about 2" of snow so far... My XF stays in the garage during these lovely events. Oh, how I wish it was winter still when the weather was nicer...

Lifeistiming -- I generally drive mine wing up and top down. I also have the only SRT6 in town, as far as I know. My next door neighbor has an oyster gold roadster, but did not drive it this winter (it was in storage). I have seen another graphite gray roadster in town but don't recall seeing your coupe. You need to meet us at Pumpernickels in Saugatuck, 15 May at 10am for brunch. Hey, that's this weekend!! JimmyJet and Al/Jill will probably be there, too.

I have to eat my words already. Yesterday I posted that I was the only SRT6 in Holland, then went for a long walk with the wife. As we are walking through the development next to ours, out comes a 2005 graphite SRT6 coupe from a garage. I waved him (Tim) down and we chatted. Invited him to join the forum. So that now makes 5 Crossfires within a 1/4 mile of each other.
