Re: has anyone seen the top gear roadster video?
I love how all these guys complain about the handling but always say the sound system is quite good. The handling is actually damn fine (yes, the steering lacks the feel of the finest, but it's NOT a truck) while the factory stereo is, in fact, total crap.
By the way, in the full version of this film as originally broadcast on Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson picked the Crossfire Roadster as his favorite of the three subject cars - the other two being a Nissan 350Z Roadster and the Audi TT Roadster.

Mike, I only vaguely remember this show from when it was first broadcast here in the UK but I seem to remember all three presenters agreed it was the best car tested.
And David - I don't think they ever tested the SRT-6 - they are a bunch of Porsche loving pussies and very rarely show anything that is better!
Regards, Andy.

You have to watch this show as entertainment.

I think they agree that the Crossfire is the best looking...and the other 2 don't offer enough features/performance to overcome the price difference. Not a real "win" for the crossfire, but it's a lot less harsh than the Top Gear coupe review.
Re: has anyone seen the top gear roadster video?
Clarkson chose the Crossfire as his favorite.
Hammond preferred the TT and May the 350Z (or the other way 'round, I don't recall exactly) None of them chose the car they "started reviewing" by the way, and there was no overall consensus on them. Clarkson even admitted that he surprised himself by choosing the Crossfire.
As for the Porsche love, that's primarily Hammond. Yes, May owns a 911 but Hammond seems to be of the impression that anything Porsche does is beyond reproach and the 911 is God's gift to motoring. But he's also a rabid fan of anything Horatio Zonda creates. There's the famous shot of Clarkson exiting a corner in an Audi R8, praising everything about the car, and then Hammond enters the picture in the background, sideways in some 911 variant. Awesome footage.
May is a lover of all things British - MGs, Aston Martins, Jags, Rolls Royce, Bentley, etc. I must say I'd love to get my hands on an Aston Martin V12 Vantage or, taking a totally different tack, an Austin Healey 3000 or a Lotus Esprit.
Either way, I love my Crossfire and really don't give a rats backside what any reviewer anywhere says about them.
