2005 whats it worth
Ive been lurking here for a long time and Im finally ready to buy my wife a roadster. Im looking at a 2005 with 22K miles on it. Its a Limited with auto trans. Its at a dealer and when I talked to them today they indicated that low 18's will buy the car. That seemed a little high to me?
Any thoughts? It isnt local to me so Ive only seen pictures and talked to them on the phone.
Thanks!

YEOW!~
Too much!
I paid less for a roadster SRT!
Keep lurking around on this site for other cars for sale. Some dude, PizzaMan, PizzaBoy, PizzaGuy or whatever has been commenting on practically every Crossfire for sale in the Northern Hemisphere. Might be one there you would be interested in. Check it out!
Good luck on the search!

My little red gem would cost you less than that! Details about it in my sigline and a thread in "Private Sales" here on the forum. I've pulled mine off the market for the time being.
But that seems a bit high to me, too. The tires better be NEW, and there better be a way to assure you of some remaining factory powertrain warranty.
If you can find someone offering theirs for sale privately, you can do a lot better, pricewise.
I expect to put mine back up for sale later this fall. I'll be asking $15K or around that, depending on what tires I put on it before then.
STAY AWAY FROM CARMAX - go to local dealers and you'll save at least 10%, that's my experience.

Two months ago I looked at two 2007 roadsters on a dealer lot for $16-17k. Mileage unknown. New tires, but there were some minor cosmetic scratches and curb rash. Convertible prices rise in the spring/summer and go way down in the winter, especially if it's a two seater sports car. Patience.
