We are leaving for the Dragon on Friday night since both Rudy and I have to work that day. But from what I remember we have to pass pretty close by you on the way to the Dragon so I'm sure a private "showing" could be arranged if you're not getting fitted for a tux or something silly. After all it's a much "shorter" trip for me to you than you to me - LOL!

Hey Steve you are right Rudy is the MAN! Let's not forget that the man didn't do this alone. If I had to have a tag line for this monster it would be; "The "Accelerated" "Speed Driven" Monster that "NeedsWings".

Oh and don't rub in the year round racing thing, I gave up pretty much my whole driving season this year to make this happen and I know both Rudy and I wish we were in a climate so we could race all year round.

So all I have to do to get my car to start off the key is add forced induction! (per Rudy) Damn these MB computers! I just turned over 10,000 miles on the V8 and it is running great! I will have it at Texas Motor Speedway next weekend for the DFW GTG.

 

is there any way we can get the moderators and admin to add a v-8 section ? these guys who have done these amazing mods lantana and rudy and taz and anyone else who takes this massive undertaking certainly deserves their own section on this great forum

I am looking at a Duramax deisel right now, with tranny/rearend...I'm thinking V-8 deisel power w/ 1000lbs torque....lol....if I couldn't beat, I would smoke ya....

So was the pricing info that was given including the purchaser giving you his SRT-6 or N/A engine (etc.), or does the purchaser get to keep those?

It was a good trip down to Chi Town - great weather and a nice drive. Lots of nice cars and some great car guys all around. Great pizza too (without any drama in a thread ).

Hopefully all is OK with Kirk, it was a shame we couldn't hook up. I hope he'll be around even if he does sell his six. And where the Hell was the rest of the Chi Town group?

The trip back home was great. I got to spank a Vette; dang I just LOVE to see the look on their faces when this little yellow (un)Limited Crossfire shows'm nothing but tail lights! Quick, Fast and in a Hurry! (insert evil grin here). - Rudy builds MONSTERS! Bwuahaha! ! !

Nice work guys...... congrats to all involved.

I have to say, it's nice to see people doing some work on these little cars and also taking aesthetics into account. That engine really looks like it belongs there.









I'm just guessing that this mod might void the lifetime powertrain warranty from Chrysler.
