Diagnostic Advice Needed
For years during Alaska's long dark cold winters I've suffered from PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome). Today I received a duo-diagnosis of PRS (Parked Roadster Syndrome). Got so bad today I had to clean and detail the roadster's wheel wells.

The Crossfire won't come out of hibernation for another four months. Any help would be appreciated.

Ummmmmm......... Have you detailed you engine drip pan yet? LOL
Hate to admit it, but it's one of the first things I did when I brought her home. Wanted to make sure I didn't have anything dripping on it from the engine bay.
In regards to Macichon's statement, sounds like something my wife would say
. Nothing hurts worse than tough love.

I thought I was a-r but you guys got me beat. Stop with detailing the engine and the exhaust outlooks. Annually pull off and detail the rims. Never did more than power wash the wheel wells, though. And have never detailed the drip pan. Now that's something I will do next summer for sure. Tell me, does it make the car go faster if you Armor-all the drip pan?
Armor all, don't notice a significant difference in speed. But once I applied 303 Protectant - wow that's a difference.
Goldwing, I've seen your post in the past are you a fellow Wing rider?

Yep. Have a 77 GL1000 full dresser (Vetter fairing, etc) tucked in the back of the garage. Have not had it on the road for about 4 years as I enjoy driving the XFs too much and the insurance is Michigan is out of sight. Bought it in 78, have 57k on her, and she's been garaged all her life. One of these days I'll spend a couple grand to refurb her and ride again.

I can relate to having fun with the XF. When the sun is shining I need to toss a coin between the Wing and the roadster. Tough life I know. Check out the pics in my gallery, I have an 08 that has more bells and whistles then my XF and the other bike is an 81 KZ1000 with 6,000 miles and completely restored. As a side note Craig Vetter has a web site and you can still order replacement parts for the fairing.
