My convertible top seems to function quite fine except for one thing. When I put it up, and the automatic process is complete, pulling it down against the header takes an awful strong pull and results in the top slamming against the header rather hard.

Is this normal or is an adjustment in order?

 

Use two hands. One to hold it up and prevent slamming.

It's normal.
