I'm more concerned with the shi&y quality of the tops and the wear marks from who knows where when these things finally start to split it will probably tear the top off the car , I hear all this Quality crap and everytime I walk up to my car and look at the top . I'm thinking maybe they got a deal from Korea on top material.

Are you referring to the NEWLY replaced tops, or the ORIGINALs as being "shi&y quality"? This is my third convert. ('64 Mustang-vinyl, '83 LeBaron-vinyl, 2005XF-fabric). The quality/appearance/seeming durability of this one is on par with the previous two IMHO). I'm interested in your valued opinion AND reasons for same..

Ditto Pacemaker's comments. Similar wear patterns on my previous convertibles - 1959 Austin Healey100 Six, 1970 Challenger, 1986 Chrysler LeBaron, 1991 Dodge Shadow, 2005 SSB Crossfire Limited.

My Crossfire is at the dealer right getting a new top - not included in X31 warranty, but my portion is $200.
