l know the feeling, the only whining sound is my wife telling me to slow down, its easily cured, i just turn my hearing aids off.....

This sounds like a radio problem- not loud enough!

nope, you are wrong Larry...it is a speed problem. Not going fast enough, as when the speedo hits 100 she becomes very quiet....

Guys, I hear these sounds everytime I start my car since I have to turn to the On/Run posistion everytime I start my car. I have never paid any attention since it is normal. The sound he is describing is coming from behind the dash and not the engine compartment. sound like a small pump or fan. I just went out to check it out and had the a/c heater off and radio off.
