Does anyone know of a way to test the alarm? I know mine works when I push "PANIC" on the key FOB however I have never heard it go off otherwise. With the alarm on I have shook the car and tried to open the locked doors and never heard a sound. If it is shut off for towing, would that also deactivate it for breakin etc.? The panic alarm is deafining.

 

Try this .... lower driver window and set the alarm using key fob. reach in and open door from inside. Plug ears if in the garage.

Get in the car, lock the car via the remote, open the glove box. Yowsers!

 

I MINDLESSLY locked my little wife (Murfi) in the car once, and then she needed to get out for some reason. The doors stayed locked until I came back and disarmed the alarm. Yes, the alarm does work. At least it did on my car in that instance. I'm not sure which hurt my ears more however, my wife or the alarm siren.
