...And hoping to get another 100k miles outta her with some good ol routine maintenance. Still running strong and everything still works like new *knocks on wood. These are great little cars

I get rid of cars at that mileage, so I figure I have another16 to 18 years with the Crossfire if I can last that long.

Getting the wheel chair in the trunk may be a problem.

Ha, 100k is just breaking it in! And I hope you've got room for spare gaskets next to that wheelchair to last you another 18 years, lol.

It's always great to see a report of 100k trouble free miles. I am only at 40k and 17k on my two. Still all oem.

Well, besides the speeding ticket I got today for doing 49 in a 35, it's been "trouble" free, lol.

Congrats Jason, wishing you at least 100k more of grins and trouble free miles. See you at the Dragon!

You bet Jim, hopefully I'll get to see your "bigger" brake kit by then, lol.

We too. We both are 2nd owners of our Crossfires, wife has just turned 11000 mile, and I just turned 21000. Both are running super and about all we do is change the oil and rotate the tires. We love our twins and I will take mine in soon for the 20000 check up.

How the hell do you rotate the tires on a car with two sizes of rims?

(I'm at 76,000 myself and still have the original CPS. Original everything, really, except tires, front brake pads, battery and coolant.)

By swapping them from side to side.
Just make sure the side wall that was facing on the outside is now facing on the inside when you remount them.
That's how you "Rotate the tires".

I swapped mine side to side when I had the OEM Conti's on it after I saw on rear was wearing more on the inside than the other.

Hell...I had 158,000 on my 98 Elantra when I smacked it up. Most cars get over 100,000 so this isn't much to brag about. I'm at 76,000+ but there's been a lot to fix in those miles. Hopefully there won't be too much more as my extended is only good for another 3000 miles.

I think most of us go without much trouble. I'm at 77,000 and have only had to replace the EGR valve, just a few days ago, in fact. I once test drove a Base Roadster with 110,000 or 120,000 on it. It shifted better than any LOW MILES XF! At that point, I made up my mind that what these cars need IS a few MILES on them!

I'm getting ready to swap out the tranny fluid with some Amsoil 5W-20 synthetic, already swapped out the differential fluid, that stuff was nasty!

Still debating doing a Sea Foam treatment though, I read good things and bad...
