Default Msg left on my windshield today

If you want to sell your car, call Sam + tel number. Made me laugh! No phone call will be made to Sam.

Don't listen to him Alicia, he's a dirty old man ( I should know, as I am also ).
It would be like internet dating, not a good idea under any circumstances.
You go your way, let Sam go his ......

The Fall Dragon won't be the same without your widsom.

This post is more related to The Dragon - but that thread is so long, I am posting here. Good traveling to Pizzaguy - if he sees this. And good traveling to all the other attendees too! My husband had hip repleacement surgery about 6 months ago, so he is not good for traveling 7 hours in my roadster. However, my MCO daugher is flying here to NC tomorrow to drive with me to Fontana. I am looking forward to meeting many of the XF owners!

I should probably call Sam and tell him ' I have too many family members who are interested in this car - it will most likely never become one that is 'for sale' to others! And it is not for sale to begin with! I am having a lot of fun with the attention that the XF gets - and I know that The Dragon will be a highlight of ownership.

Best regards to all XF owners!

Alicia

What? HUSBAND ???

Do you have ANY idea how many of us assumed you and your daughter were both single ?

You didn't really think all of us were that friendly just 'cause you had a Crossfire - did you?

OK, y'all - Yes - I have a wonderful husband - who has been enjoying my stories about The Dragon! Our daughter, Kathy, is unmarried. She has come close about 3x. I loved it that she was able to travel with me to The Dragon! She flew to NC, and then drove with me to The Dragon and back, then flew home to MCO. The conversations in the close confines of the XF can be very enriching. A bonus to the great experience at The Dragon.

Changing the subject a bit, at The Dragon I also loved the various incarnations of the windscreens, and I especially liked the Karmann crests that Pacemaker had on his roadster. As friends ask me about this trip - what comes to mind is the very first view of alll the beautiful XFs parked in the lot in front of The Fontana Lodge. There were some cars with hoods open and attendees looking inside - there were individuals looking at the various cars and best of alll , there were people giving a quick wave of 'helllo' upon arrival.

I was fortunate to meet Valk and Pacemaker and Murfi right after checking in, and Valk was the last person we talked with when leaving. Seems right.

It was a pleasure meeting you and your daughter. There are just so many new people as well as old friends, it just seems I never get to spend any quality time with newcomers... It takes a few Dragons to meet everyone, but the new keep coming. What we really need is a reall "homecoming" of all the owners at next year's fall Dragon... I am coming down next fall for a whole week...tired of the long drive just to turn around for another long drive...especially when I drive for a living...Sheriff gig is coming to close at the end of the month...gave my notice...but the trucking will continue for a few more years...The Dragon has been for the most part, my only break from work...so, doing it up right next fall. Hopefully your hubby can make next fall Alicia...and your daughter needs a XF...

Between catching up on emails from work (I was on comp time, after all ) and calling my sister as well as everything going on, I didn't get to spend as much time with ANYONE at this Dragon as I did my FIRST Dragon. The fall is always like that. I always come away wondering where the four days went...

The good news and the bad news is that I get an idea this next spring meet will be bigger than usual !
