Default Any way to disable the 9-mph limit on closing the top?

It is really annoying in parking lots. I do not plan on raising the top at any great speed, I just want to be able to go a little faster than it allows. I understand why it exists and the safety concerns.

Do you have the "one touch top switch" upgrade ?
I find that I can get in, start the car, press the switch and then by the time I fasten the seat belt and put on my glasses, it's time to latch the top and go.
Sometimes I even get the car in gear with the brakes on, but I prefer to use both hands on the latching, so never actually move.
( You still have the double-tap both windows up / down feature with the mod )

The 9 pmh speed limit is programmed either in the Top Module, the Body Control Module or the Power Train Control Module - not sure which (they all talk to one another over the CAN bus, who knows WHERE it is!) If there was a way to disable or raise it, I'd sure have paid to have it done.

I'd bet ya it's in the BCM - I know the TCM and BCM talk a lot, 'cause the BCM controls the windows and they are commanded up and down by the TCM, also, the trunk lock position sensor reports to the BCM as well.

I do not have that upgrade. Might have to look into that. I generally have no issue when putting it down, but when I pull into a parking spot, I'd like to have the top already in the process of closing.
