I recently noticed a picture of a crossfire that had a chrome windshield frame. Does anyone know if these are available and where.

The chrome looking frame comes on the Limited models, I believe. If you purchased a base model you won't have that.

 

Yes, If you mean chrome-looking, it's painted silver, the same as the wheels and side detail, door handles, etc. I haven't seen an actual chrome framed windshield yet. Where did you see it?

 

I think one of the Crossfires at SEMA had a chrome windshield frame, but it's hard to tell from the small pictures I've seen. I don't think you can buy it that way anywhere, but there are places that can chrome plastic.

 

Agreed. It was the one at SEMA that had a chrome windshield frame. The Limiteds just come with it painted silver. The SEMA one was obviously custom. I think it would really look good if all the silver exterior pieces were chromed out.. otherwise it doesn't really fit because it would be the only chrome the car has, in an unusual and big location at that.
