Manual Top Operation - Where Hex Key goes?
I watched the video for the manual operation, but I can't figure out where the 6mm Hex key goes. I took the pictures of the latch mechanism. Since I couldn't find the spot for the key, I removed the brass cover and took another picture. So I'm attaching a couple of pictures with and without the cover.
Please tell me where should I insert the hex key.
Thanks.

Wrong latch, your pictures are of the tonneau cover latch.
The hex key is for the bow latch, open the trunk and look up just inside the opening at the top, you'll see it.

HOW could you not? The *SNAP* you hear when it releases has been known to frighten dogs and cause seizures.
Just needed to use this during a recent top locking/Unlocking problem. 8mm Allen Hex key is required. Will now keep one in my carry aboard tool kit.

You are right, it is a 6mm. BUT now I have got to figure out why my convertible top has stopped working.
I am having the same problem.
The switch light flashes and ever once and awhile I get a beep.
Had to stop as I was getting very frustrate.

Try jiggling the switch located on the top rail about center on the passenger side. It is kind of hard to see. They seem to not make good contact if they are not used much.
