Starts but won't run?
Re: Starts but won't run?
Yup certainly sounds like a failed SKREEM module

Re: Starts but won't run?
I'm currently having the same issue for exactly the same reason. Battery drained out and now the SKREEM-related issues are persisting despite battery swap and troubleshooting. It's extremely frustrating that something as simple as a battery drain could permanently brick the module, it can't be bypassed, and a new one can't be acquired because FCA hasn't been filling orders for them since 2/18/19.
Re: Starts but won't run?
My 2007 Crossfire is sitting in a shop in Irvine and my mechanic is charging me $25 a day while I am waiting for a Skreem modual from Chrysler and Needswings. I paid the $700 over two weeks ago and I guess Chrysler is slow on the backorder. Are we being held hostage by the factory?
Re: Starts but won't run?
I received my skreem from NEEDSWINGS and didn't help. Would not accept my key, lock or unlock doors. Tried to reprogram key but nothing works. Sent to Crown Chrysler to check and they said it needed key, key fob and several other things but didn't send me a needed parts list. Said to come get it because they said parts are out of stock and didn't know when they would be available. I put my old skreem back in and door lock and unlock but still cranks and goes dead. Out 700 dollars and back to start line. Just frustrated I guess. Also had a mercedes mechanic check it and he said his computer will not talk to it.
I must have more than a skreem problem.

Re: Starts but won't run?
The lock unlock part of your fob is separate from the ignition part. There is a small chip inside the fob that communicates with the skreem . If that chip is missing the car won't start. Make sure the chip is in your fob and that the wire from the ring around your ignition is plugged into the skreem. Needs wings also sells the key fobs with chip specific to your vin number
