Default Brake light switch location???

Started the car up, (2006 Roadster) the spoiler came up and the Bas/Esp/ abs lights came on, Won't go off, tried everything i read on here, expect replacing the brake light switch, Can't find it. Does any one have the location of the Brake light switch? I ordered one but i think it is only going to work on the auto??? Also no codes showing up. Thanks

Switch is at the top of the brake pedal. Remove the panel under the dash for access.

Bob I apologize, I sent you on a wild goose chase. The switch is integrated into the BAS solenoid valve at the lower part of the booster and is not serviceable. The switch does operate the brake light relay in the fuse panel next to the booster. All this info and locations are on page 8L-90 in the service manual.

Seems some confusion can come about because of the use of a stop lamp and stop light wording. There is a switch at the top of the brake pedal from what I understand.

Just so people know that my 2007 service manual on page 8L 96 says that the brake light switch is only available as an assembly with the "power brake booster". It does show on page 8L 90 or 8L 91 in other years manuals how to replace the switch. The MB switch on my 2005 is # 001-545-64-09 and SMP (Standard Motor Products) # is SLS384. Much cheaper than the brake power booster!
You can also check your brake relay in the underhood fuse panel - you have to remove the second cover to see the relays that are closer to the windshield - the relay is MB # 0025421419 and SMP # RY1091 (it's the Yellow one) and the fuse #2 in the ICM (Illumination control module connected to the headlight switch) I think those are the main things to look at if your brake lights don't work and your bulbs are ok. Hope this clarifies the info out there.

I have the exact problem and I'm looking for the solution. I also have a 6 spd roadster (2005). I was driving when the car had a power hiccup and everything lite up on the instrument panel. My spoiler came up and my convertible top does not work. The car is drivable but feels like it is running at reduced power. So also looking for help as to what is the solution. HELP????
