Default Replacement soft top

Oh Dear...Well after 15 years, 2 glue ins, the top has shrunk enough so i cant glue the window back in. Just sent a mail to BAS in the UK so waiting on a price. The Top straps are also rotted and am wondering if anyone here has the dimensions so that i can get them made locally in Australia than having to buy from the states. my last effort with that thieving %$#*&& at korean imports has left a rather bitter taste in my mouth. Many thanks to all you wonderful people here .

I got mine here, 2004 thru 2008 Chrysler Crossfire Convertible Top Pads. https://www.topsonline.com/model/Con...Crossfire.html . You could try and make them , but there is a little more to it than a straight nylon strap. Good luck

If your buying a complete top (Hood), contact BAS Rebecca Treherne <rebecca.web.bas@gmail.com> ask her for the group buy offer. Pretty good discount.

Unfortunately there is no group buy at the moment so its full price for me, but they do have one in stock (blue for my SSB) Just waiting on a price response so i can transfer the funds.
Reason im after the top pad info is i would like to make out of seatbelt material but both mine are rotten and falling apart. Thats what hot weather does to them lol.

I had new top pads made before I knew they are available. The main part of the pads are nylon webbing but the ends are elastic bands. I found both materials on eBay and had an upholstery shop sew them up for me. I wouldn’t do that again, just buy the new ones.

SO even if you paid $900 for the top, that is $1100 for a job that took, at most, three hours?

That's almost $400 per hour. My cardiologist charges only $180 per HALF hour. I must admire the GUTS some shops have....

$180? That is enough to cause cardiac arrest, in the socialist state of Canada the cardiologists pay us to see them.😜
