Default Top Went Down. Will Not Go Up

Hello All,
I am new to Crossfire ownership and to this forum. The car is a 2005 SRT6 Roadster. Yesterday my wife and I went for a drive of about two hours. Prior to leaving, I lowered the top and everything worked perfectly. When we returned I wanted to raise the top before putting the car in the garage. I pressed the switch and nothing happened - no motor noise, no clicks of latches, no movement of parts. The small red indicator light in the center of the switch was flashing. The owner's manual had nothing regarding top operation.

Can this be something as simple as a fuse? What other possibilities are there?

Thank you in advance for any assistance you may provide.

Does the light flash if you drive the car (without hitting the button)? If so, it is probably telling you the cycle did not complete when lowering the top. You can press the DOWN part of the button, if you hear some clicks and a beep - that would mean the cycle is complete. THEN try putting it up.

It is possible you did not fully complete the lowering (that is, when the top is fully down, the system will beep, indicating the cycle completed, same as when you put it UP). If you keep the DOWN button pressed, the windows will then go back up!

In cases where the cycle did not complete and you drive the car with the switch flashing, in time, the top goes out of sync with the controller. In these cases, there are two things to try to re-sync:

1) Shut engine off. Disconnect battery ground cable for 30 seconds. Reconnect. Start engine. Now try the switch to see if the top will go up.
If that does not do it,
2) Start engine. Put top up manually, including setting the bow latch with a hex key. Put top down manually.
Repeat two more times. Now try the button.

A top that won'[t go DOWN is usually caused by a bad divider switch or top open switch - BUT a top that won't go UP but went down fine, is usually caused by a loss of sync.
