Chief issue us odb ii cannot connect & bas light on, spoiler up and cruse not working. Added additional grounding, no real help. Now looking at rcm, anyone see a problem here? Car is drivable.
I'd reflow most of the entire board, but I agree with George. Also, know that a sluggish, pitted or bad traction control relay causes, essentially, the issues you mention.
Make sure it's pulling in and you have over 12 volts at the output of the RCM, plug C, pins 4 and 5. (I believe, with an automatic transmission, it won't shift from PARK if this is the issue, but George has an auto so ask him.)
You may have more than one problem. I would first check your cars battery: how old is it, take it to an auto parts store and have it load tested. If the battery checks out okay I would suspect the brake light switch down near the drivers floor under the dash.
If your car is starting and running fine you may be okay with your RCM.
