Here's my dyno results from 08/08/2006. Prepping the XF for upgrades. Target is 400 bhp to the wheel. Will keep you posted.

How did you get it to run over 5,000 rpm?

Also how did you get it to run so fast in the 1/4 mile.

Outstanding run. The lowest et in my stock SRT6 is 12.98 at 113 mph (Capitol Raceway, Crofton, MD) but that took a few (8) runs. The auto-stick can be confusing b/c you want to mash the clutch before the shift. It took a few to get used to banging gears w/o patting the foot. LOL. Anything under 13.50 in a stock machine is hauling ***. Good Job.

Especially the mph that stock car is flying.

I'll be curious where 120 rwhp is going to come from.

nitrous should get you there, but you'll probably need some expensive gas too. maybe alcohol injection might keep temps down decreasing detonation, are you chipped? what's the timing at?

Its a lot easier in "auto-stick" than in standard. I made a few practice shifts prior to initiating the dyno.

Pulley Kit
ECU
SL55 y-pipe
Green Filters
Camshafts
Removal of primary cats
'Upgraded' wires and plugs

The above should put you in the 370-380 rwhp range.

What's the SL55 Y-pipe? Anybody have proof that it ads any power? Speaking with Klennman they don't think new filters have any effect on power from their testing.

Not sure if new filters add any power or not. I have seen applications where they do not.

EvoSport has some dyno's showing the SL55 y-pipe adding a couple of ponies. It is not a huge gain but it is something.

The Y-Pipe is the y-shaped pipe that connects the two air boxes to the TB. If you look at the stock version it is very small and restricted. The SL55 has a larger y-pipe that run ~$75 from an MB dealer. It is not a direct bolt on as the tubes are larger but an adapter is easy to make from either silicone couplers or your stock y-pipe.

Have not seen the cast piece before. Do you have any information on it?

The cast piece is off the SLK32 AMG I believe, cast Y pipe MB part # A 112 090 00 31 - $41.

I think it's the same part on the SRT6 supercharger...?

Have not seen the cast piece on an SLK32 and I have seen several of them in person.

The SLK32 uses the same part as our cars. I believe the SL55 uses a rubber piece as well. I can look in the shop a little later to see if we have one open.
A cast aluminum piece would probably be aftermarket.

I don't think its aftermarket cause it has a MB part number.
